The founder of the group “Earthlings” Vladimir Kiselev published on his website an open letter, which he also forwarded to the Russian Ministry of Culture. The cultural figure noted that he is 70 years old, he can no longer be afraid of anything and speak boldly.
Kiselev said that “patriots” are now entering the scene, who are trying to stay away from the NVO zone, but do not forget to beat out “crazy” fees for themselves. At the same time, artists who have repeatedly come to Donbass or Melitopol do not get to state venues.
“Continuing this topic, I consider it an absolute profanation to hold some unimaginable concerts in cities a thousand kilometers from the front, in which absolutely non-star and unknown artists are involved, differing only in that there are special agreements with them,” Kiselev wrote.
Against the backdrop of the concerts that were given in the hottest spots by Yulia Chicherina, Larisa Dolina and Olga Kormukhina, the performance of the Shaman on Poklonnaya Hill looked wild, the musician noted.
Vladimir Kiselev recalled that during the Great Patriotic War, the best actors and singers of the Soviet Union performed at the front. Now the most popular performers are not allowed even with charity concerts.
The founder of the group “Earthlings” also condemned the king of the Russian pop scene.
“Philip Kirkorov, People’s Artist of Russia, healthy, physically unburdened with injuries, descended to the wounded soldiers in the Crimea and invited them to his performance: come yourself in wheelchairs, in beds, with droppers,” Vladimir Kiselev emphasized.
