An entry about changing the name of Xerox (CIS) LLC appeared in Kontur.Focus on October 20. The founder of the company is Kselab LLC, which is owned by Anton Borodikhin, who headed Xerox (CIS), and Svetlana Borodikhin. Mr. Borodikhin’s share is 90%, Ms. Borodikhin’s is 10%.
On the website, the name remains the same – Xerox, but the company’s press service confirmed its intention to abandon the use of a foreign brand and continue operations in Russia under the new name Technoevolab. “The plans include the development of new projects in Russia that will help domestic customers solve current IT problems, including those not related to the printing business. We have retained the company’s technical team and deep industry expertise that we have accumulated over more than 30 years of work,” commented Anton Borodikhin.
In March 2022 Xerox stopped supplies of products to Russia and limited its activities in the country in connection with the Russian military operation in Ukraine. Restricted transactions included doing business only with specific customers and partners in full compliance with all sanctions.
In early October, Xerox sold its Russian business to local management, thereby completely ending its work in Russia. According to SPARK-Interfax, the revenue of Xerox (CIS) LLC in 2022 decreased by more than half – to 6.6 billion rubles. The net loss at the end of last year amounted to 257 million rubles.
