Sergei Bykovskikh, former president of the Russian representative office of the German manufacturer of household chemicals and cosmetics Henkel, became the general director of United Brewery Holding LLC (OPH), as follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.

OPH “Kommersant” confirmed the appointment, noting Mr. Bykovskikh’s experience in a large international company, competence in managing a wide range of brands and categories, understanding consumer preferences and creating strategies in an emerging market. Ksenia Kostygova, the acting general director of the enterprise, will focus on the role of director of supply chain management and will continue to manage production, purchasing, planning and logistics, the holding added.

OPH includes eight factories in different cities, producing beer “Ochota”, “Bochkarev”, “Three Bears”, “Krusovice” Dr.Diesel, cider “Mr. Fox”, etc. Previously, the company was part of the Dutch concern Heineken, and in August 2023, OPH was acquired by the Arnest group of Alexei Sagal, which also produces household chemicals, cosmetics and aluminum cans. According to data from market participants, in 2022 the OPH company was the third beer producer in Russia with a production volume of more than 47 million decaliters.
