The former CEO of the Tretyakov Gallery Tregulova learned about the dismissal from the media

The former general director of the Tretyakov Gallery Zelfira Tregulova, who is replaced today, February 9, by the Ministry of Culture appointed Elena Pronicheva, learned about the dismissal from the media. She told about it “National News Service”.

“Do you want to hear what I think about my dismissal, which I learned from the media? Nothing! Thank you all,” Ms. Tregulova said and hung up. The Ministry of Culture explained the dismissal of Mrs. Tregulova by the expiration of the labor contract.

Elena Pronicheva previously headed the Polytechnic Museum, and was also the executive director of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center. Her father Vladimir Pronichev was the first deputy of the FSB, led the operational headquarters for the release of the hostages in the theater center on Dubrovka.

Zelfira Tregulova has been the CEO of the Tretyakov Gallery since 2015. In January, a certain Sergei Shadrin complained about the Tretyakov Gallery. According to Novye Izvestia, he was not satisfied with the composition with paintings from the second half of the 20th century. After that, the Ministry of Culture sent Zelfira Tregulova received a letter and asked for a report on the compliance of the exhibition with spiritual and moral values.
