The film “The Flying Ship” became the leader in film distribution in the Russian Federation and the CIS over the weekend, reported kinobusiness.com. In total, the domestic film has already collected 626.8 million rubles.
Film distribution leaders March 28–31:
- “Flying Ship” – 258 million rubles. (from the beginning of rental – 626.8 million rubles);
- “Godzilla and Kong: New Empire” (without Russia and Belarus) – 91 million rubles;
- “Abnormal” – 42 million rubles;
- “Onegin” – 40.4 million rubles. (RUB 727 million);
- “Kung Fu Panda 4” (without Russia and Belarus) – 24.7 million rubles. (RUB 422 million).
The total revenue of Russian cinemas over the weekend amounted to 595–600 million rubles. This is 14–15% more than a year ago.
