The Transport of the Future company opened the first stage of a plant for the production of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the special economic zone of Togliatti. As the press service of the Kommersant company reported, the plant will begin producing drones for agriculture, monitoring and delivery.
The first stage of the plant will produce agricultural drones of the Hector S-80 model, and will also become a training center for specialists in the field of precision farming using drones. In 2024, the company plans to produce more than 1.5 thousand agrodrones and other types of UAS weighing more than 10 kg. After full launch, the site will begin producing seven models of drones, as well as key components for drones.
The second stage of the plant should be launched by July, the third – in December 2024, the press service of Transport of the Future clarified.
