Guy Ritchie’s film “The Translator” became the leader of the official Russian film distribution on the weekend for the third time in a row. In the CIS countries, excluding the Russian Federation and Belarus, the film distribution was headed by the film “Flash” of the DC Cinematic Universe, said kinobusiness.com.
Film distribution leaders in Russia and the CIS on June 15–18:
- “Flash” (without the Russian Federation and Belarus) – 43 million rubles;
- “Translator” – 32.6 million rubles. (from the beginning of the rental – 220.7 million rubles);
- “Elementary” (without the Russian Federation and Belarus) – 27.8 million rubles;
- “Challenge” – 24.2 (1.8 billion rubles);
- “Through time” – 20.5 million rubles.
The total revenue of Russian cinemas amounted to about 260-265 million rubles. Such low fees have not been seen since the beginning of October 2022. On the same weekend in June 2022, cinemas collected 212 million rubles.
In the unofficial box office in the Russian Federation last weekend, the leader was Spider-Man: Web of Universes (goes to cinemas as a “pre-screening service”). On June 8-11, the cartoon received 91 million rubles, the Bulletin of the Film Distributor reported.
