The most common errors in the Federal Tax Service included artificial division of business, errors in tax accounting, arrears in personal income tax (PIT). At the same time, the department noted that such mistakes are often made due to “ignorance or misunderstanding of responsibility.”

“Revenues in the blogosphere are growing very fast. Often, people may simply not have time to figure out that their income at first does not fit into the boundaries of the self-employment regime, and then it crosses the threshold values ​​​​for the simplified taxation system, ”the Federal Tax Service noted.

In the spring, several bloggers immediately came under the attention of law enforcement agencies in connection with non-payment of taxes. On March 7, the ICR opened a criminal case against bloggers Valeria (Lerchek) and Artem Chekalin under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – Part 2 of Art. 198, part 5 of Art. 33, part 2 of Art. 198 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (evasion and complicity in tax evasion from an individual). On the same day, Lerchek was charged with tax evasion for more than 311 million rubles, and her husband Artem with complicity. On May 22, the Chekalins’ defense announced that they paid all debts.
