The euro exchange rate on the Moscow Exchange exceeded 108 rubles – Kommersant

The euro exchange rate during trading on the Moscow Exchange for the first time since March 2022 exceeded 108 rubles. As of 10:55, the euro is growing by 0.11%, to 107.68 rubles.
During trading, the dollar rose by 0.43% to 97.87 rubles. The yuan rose by 0.17% to 13.48 rubles. The Moscow Exchange Index rose by 0.24% to 3156.79 points. The RTS index fell by 0.36% to 1014.1 points.

According to Bloomberg, the ruble has weakened against the dollar by 23% in 2023. According to the newspaper’s calculations, the ruble turned out to be in the top three worst-performing currencies among emerging markets – on a par with the Turkish lira and the Argentine peso.
