Euro exchange rate during trading on the Moscow Exchange (MOEX: MOEX) exceeded 100 rubles. The European currency reached this level for the first time since February 28. As of 16:40, the euro was trading at 99.95 rubles/€ (+0.91%).

The dollar and yuan exchange rates are also rising. As of 16:45, the dollar was trading at 91.62 rubles/$ (+1.1%). The yuan rose in price by 1.16%, to 12.74 rubles.

On February 28, the exchange volume of yuan trading for delivery “tomorrow” reached its highest level since the beginning of 2024—RUB 232 billion. The trading volume was higher only on July 7, 2023 – 239.6 billion rubles. The dollar trading volume increased by 27% during the day, to 110.6 billion rubles, showing the third result since the beginning of the year. Euro trading volume increased by more than 42%, to RUB 65.3 billion—the maximum since December 22, 2023.
