The Embassy and Trade Representation of Russia in Ankara are investigating the cause of problems with processing the transit of part of the goods of Russian companies in Turkey. About it RBC told in the diplomatic mission. Earlier it became known that difficulties arose with the transportation of sanctioned goods.
“Currently, the embassy and the trade mission are working to clarify the circumstances and background of the emerging difficulties with the registration of trade operations of a number of Russian companies. We are in contact with the Turkish authorities. We hope to resolve the situation as soon as possible,” the embassy said.
On the fact that the customs system of Turkey is blocking the clearance of cargo transit to Russia, March 9 informed Kommersant FM. Market participants noted that clearance problems arose during the transit of sanctioned goods that go to Russia under parallel import schemes. The Turkish authorities have not published an official decision to suspend supplies. Logisticians note that the import of sanctioned goods will not be completely closed – it will only rise in price, since now the cargo will have to be cleared through customs with the payment of all taxes and fees, registered as Turkish and transported to Russia.
