In April, MDT “with great regret” announced the postponement of two performances of the play, in which actor Danila Kozlovsky was involved. “We really hope that the performances will take place,” the theater noted. Kozlovsky had previously tried to file a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against the public figure Vitaly Borodin, who complained to law enforcement agencies about the artist, like many of his colleaguesaccusing him of being unpatriotic. The court refused to accept the statement of claim, explaining this by the presence of “gross violations.” After that, a number of media outlets spread rumors about Kozlovsky’s alleged departure from Russia, but they were refuted.
