Dollar exchange rate on Moscow Exchange got down below 96 rub. for the first time since September 25. As of 11.18, the exchange rate for “tomorrow” settlements fell by 1.14 rubles, to 95.91 rubles/$. The yuan decreased by 17 kopecks, to 13.06 rubles, the euro – by 1.36 rubles, to 101.44 rubles/€
By opinion analysts, the strengthening of the ruble is associated with the authorities’ decision to oblige some groups of exporters to sell currency on the open market. President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian budget needs a “slightly lower” exchange rate.
