The island of Bornholm in Denmark was de-energized due to a break in the submarine cable that supplies electricity from Sweden, Danish radio reported. DR. What caused the accident is unknown. Within two hours, electricity was restored to a third of the island. It is planned to fully restore it by 13:00 Moscow time.

Bornholms Energi og Forsyning said it would restore electricity through a station in the port of Rønne. The owner of the power grid, Trefor Elnet st, clarified that it is not clear whether the cable break occurred on land or at sea between Sweden and Bornholm.

On September 26, the pressure dropped sharply in Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2. The incident occurred near the island of Bornholm. Sweden informedthat the explosions were the cause. Who exactly carried them out has not yet been established. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation opened a case under Part 1 of Art. 361 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (act of international terrorism).
