The southern part of the Druzhba oil pipeline system will start delivering fuel to the Czech Republic on Friday, August 12, or on Saturday, August 13. This was reported by Czech television with reference to the owner of the operator of the Czech section of the pipeline – Mero company Jaroslav Pantuchek.

“We expect that oil via Druzhba may begin to flow to us tomorrow or the day after tomorrow,” the head of Mero said (quoted by TASS).

On Wednesday, oil supplies via Druzhba were restored to Slovakia, and on Thursday night to Hungary. Both states paid for the transit. Information that the Czech Republic also made the payment has not yet appeared.

“Ukrtransnafta” stopped pumping oil through the southern branch of the Druzhba from August 4. Reason: Transneft was unable to make a payment due to the entry into force of the seventh package of anti-Russian sanctions. Hungary and Slovakia agreed with Ukraine on direct payments.

Details – in the publication “Kommersant” “Hungary and Slovakia straightened transit”.
