The American company OpenAI, which developed ChatGPT, is testing systems for identifying and cleaning unwanted information based on artificial intelligence. This was reported Bloomberg with reference to the statement of the representative of the company Andrea Vallone.
The GPT-4 model, the fourth in the ChatGPT series, successfully solves the problem of content moderation and can “do six months of work in just a day,” the company said.
At the same time, the company notes that the moderation process should not be fully automated, since “using technology to interpret the nuances of human writing can be a difficult task.” Instead, the company proposes using artificial intelligence to free up employee time for more complex moderation tasks.
As Bloomberg notes, many companies, such as Meta (recognized as extremist in Russia and banned in Russia), are already using artificial intelligence-based technologies to help employees who are engaged in content moderation.
