The Central District Court of Kaliningrad confiscated a 51.75% stake in the Kaliningrad Commercial Sea Port (KMTP) from State Duma deputy from United Russia Andrey Kolesnik and his family to the state. This was reported by the portal “New Kaliningrad”, the information was confirmed by a source of “Vedomosti”, close to the KMTP.

The deputy and his wife Marina Lysenko were also charged with illegal income from the management of the terminal in the amount of 369 million rubles. Earlier, this was demanded by the Prosecutor General’s Office, which considered these incomes received “as a result of an act of corruption” (“Vedomosti” talked about the case on July 3). Kolesnik violated the requirements of anti-corruption legislation: he illegally acquired and secretly owned shares in KMTP, illegally conducted commercial activities in managing the port and unlawfully enriched himself, according to the statement of claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
