The Tagansky Court of Moscow fined the photo hosting site Pinterest for posting on its platform content that is prohibited in Russia. This was reported by the press service of the court. TASS.
“The court found Pinterest Inc. guilty. according to Part 2 of Art. 13.50 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and imposed a fine of 800 thousand rubles,” the court said.
According to the law, the owner of a social network is obliged to limit access to information about drug production, methods of suicide, calls for mass riots, promoting non-traditional sexual relationships or gender reassignment, as well as other information established by law. Violations are subject to administrative fines. For legal entities – from 800 thousand to 4 million rubles.
