The Khoroshevsky Court of Moscow will consider a civil case filed by 28 people against Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (London division) and the Moscow office of Sony. This was reported Vedomosti with reference to the document on the acceptance of the claim for the preparation of the case for trial.

28 plaintiffs demand that Sony resume access to the PlayStation Store and compensate for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 280 million rubles. Pre-trial hearing appointed on October 31st. Defendants may submit written objections prior to this date. Until that time, other users who consider their rights violated can join the lawsuit.

Sony suspended operation of the PlayStation Store, ceased selling PlayStation consoles and software on March 10. The decision was made due to the start of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine.
