Having analyzed their own blogger campaigns, Starlink experts came to the conclusion that in the period from September to October, the cost of placing advertising publications in Telegram channels increased by an average of 35%. The increase in advertising prices on Telegram in September 2023 compared to September 2022 was also noted by the digital director of the Igronik group, Evgeniy Chuvashov. According to him, the increase ranged from 15 to 30%.
The founder of the advertising agency Digital Church, Mark Khludnev, believes that the cost of placement has increased not only in Telegram, but in the entire segment of online advertising. According to Mr. Khludnev, in September-October, advertising prices increased by 5-10%. Mark Khludnev cited general inflation as the reasons for the rise in prices, as well as increased competition and an increase in the number of advertisers while the available advertising space remained the same.
At the end of 2022, the average price of an advertising post in Telegram news channels grew by 341% and reached 55,940 rubles, experts from the platform for placing native advertising BeSeed calculated. In 2021, the cost of advertising was 12,680 rubles. Across all thematic categories, the cost of advertising on Telegram last year increased by 76.5%, to RUB 29,050.
