The company of the Tkachev family will pay 24.2 billion rubles for the Arkhyz resort

“Mountain peaks”, associated with the family of the former governor of the Krasnodar Territory and ex-head of the Ministry of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev, intends to purchase a ski resort in Karachay-Cherkessia for 24.2 billion rubles. About it writes RBC with reference to the minutes of summing up the results of trading for the right to purchase shares of the management company (MC) “Arkhyz” (owns the resort).

The publication notes that the only competitor of the “Mountain Peaks” was JSC “Partners Group”, which offered to pay 19 billion rubles for the ski resort. As a result, the company of the Tkachev family became the winner of the competition.

Previously RBC wrote that both companies offered to buy out 100% of Arkhyz Management Company for 17.018 billion rubles. – the minimum price at the competition, which was announced February 10, 2023 In this regard, it was necessary to carry out rebidding on February 27 and 28, the minimum cost of the “step” was 200 million rubles. The auction results will be summed up on March 1 and published the next day.

According to the terms of the competition, the payment and transfer of shares will take place in two stages: first, Mountain Peaks must pay 25% of the shares, and the company will be able to buy the remaining 75% within 15 years when fulfilling investment obligations.

At the end of January it became known that the company “Mountain Peaks” filed a petition to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) for obtaining a preliminary consent to the purchase of the Arkhyz resort, which belongs to the state company JSC Kavkaz.RF. According to the general director of the state-owned company Khasan Timizhev, the state has invested 23 billion rubles in the project. With this money, 27 km of ski slopes, eight cable cars and more than 2,000 accommodation places were built.
