The first column of heavy trucks arrived in the Rostov region by land route through Mariupol, Kommersant was told in the Council of Ministers of Crimea.
“The composition of the convoy that departed yesterday from the Crimea, has about 70 cars. They passed Melitopol, Mariupol, Novoazovsk, Taganrog and almost arrived in Rostov. Her security was carried out by the traffic police and the Russian military,” the experts said.
In addition, according to officials, today, October 11, in the morning at the Kerch ferry crossing, the fourth Yeysk ferry started work. In total, more than 750 trucks and 4.3 thousand people have already been transported across the Kerch Strait since the resumption of the operation of the crossing. At special sites on both sides of the strait, almost 2,000 more cars and buses are waiting for their turn.
