The Central Bank will increase the property qualification for qualified investors to 25 million rubles

Member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank Mikhail Mamuta said that the regulator plans to raise property qualifications from 6 million to 24-25 million rubles. to qualify as a qualified investor. The decision was made based on the analysis of accumulated inflation, as well as taking into account international experience “in comparable prices.”

“But what we consider possible is an increase in the qualification in two stages with a certain lag – up to 12 million, for example, and then up to 24–25 million rubles. Initially, the Central Bank planned to raise the property qualification from 6 million to 30 million rubles. However, later the regulator began to discuss the plank of 20 million rubles. In addition, the regulator plans to include the presence of economic education in the selection criteria.
