The Central Bank plans to develop in the fourth quarter of 2024 a draft law on the transfer of data on payment for purchases in installments to the credit history bureaus (BKI). This follows from the road cards Central Bank for the development of macroprudential instruments for 2023-2024.
The bill will oblige sellers, when selling goods in this way, to inform consumers about the installment plan provided and send information to the BKI.
Earlier, the Bank of Russia revealed cases of lenders participating in the provision of consumer loans without concluding agreements. We are talking about situations where sellers sell goods by installments, and the resulting rights of claim against consumers are acquired by professional creditors.
