The Central Bank included Tinkoff Bank (MOEX: TCSG) to the register of information system operators for the issuance of digital financial assets (DFAs).
“On March 28, 2024, the Bank of Russia decided to agree on the rules of the information system of Tinkoff Bank JSC for the issuance of digital financial assets and to include Tinkoff Bank JSC in the register of operators of information systems in which the issuance of digital financial assets is carried out,” it says. message regulator
Digital financial assets (DFAs) are records (tokens) recognized by Russian law in the blockchain system, which assume that their holders have digital rights.
Previously, the Central Bank’s list included ten information system operators for issuing digital financial assets: the Atomize blockchain platform, Sberbank, the Lighthouse fintech company, Alfa Bank, Distributed Registry Systems LLC, Tokens, Eurofinance Mosnarbank, St. Petersburg Exchange, Blockchain Hub and NCO JSC NSD.
