The business climate indicator, which fixes the Bank of Russia, fell to minus 1.2 points, according to the October data survey. The main factor in the deterioration of expectations is the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia.
According to the report, the most significant deterioration in the business climate (and its expectations) is observed in construction and trade. This is largely due to a decrease in demand in these industries.
The report focuses on the price expectations of enterprises. The most significant increase in prices is expected in the energy sector. A significant decline in price expectations was recorded in the automotive industry and agriculture.
“The deterioration in estimates of current business conditions and short-term expectations in the sphere of production and demand is partly due to increased risks amid increased uncertainty in the economy. Business price expectations have risen in the face of rising costs,”— reported in the Central Bank.
In September, the poll of the Central Bank fixed IBC growth. In February, the indicator fell by 3.5 points and began to show stable growth only in July.
