The founder of the charity movement “Artists for Russian Soldiers” Diana Bicharova reported that the cause of death of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Grishechkin was heart disease. Earlier it became known that the actor, who played in the TV series “Brigade”, “Soldiers” and “Happy Together”, died on September 15 at the age of 62.

The actor previously served in the Russian Academic Youth Theater, was the artistic director of the Volzhsky Drama Theater, and was also a member of the troupe of the Moscow Theater in the South-West. Since 2017, the artist has directed the theater studio at the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
In 1994, Vyacheslav Grishechkin was awarded the title “Honored Artist of Russia”, and in 2013 he was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree. Grishechkin’s filmography includes 167 films and TV series.
