The release took 11th place at the box office in the country on Sunday, with the Taiwanese film “The Pig, the Snake and the Dove” leading the box office.
“Challenge” is distributed by Beijing AIRMITA Cultural Development Co., Ltd, which also produced “Upward Movement” and “T-34.” At the same time, in March, the general director of the Chinese distributor Du Liang predicted that the box office receipts from the screening of “The Challenge” for the first month should be about $7 million, and the total revenue from ticket sales should be $10 million, TASS reported.
