The Board of Directors of the investment company AFK Sistema recommended the General Meeting of Shareholders to approve dividends for 2022 in the amount of RUB 4 billion. This is stated in a presentation published on the company’s website (.pdf). The shareholders’ meeting of AFK Sistema is scheduled for June 30.
According to the results of the first quarter of 2023, the consolidated revenue of AFK Sistema amounted to 221.1 billion rubles. Net profit for this period in the company’s share – 16.5 billion rubles, capital expenditures – 25.7 billion rubles. Adjusted OIBDA increased by 12.9% year-on-year to RUB 82.4 billion.
From the report of AFK Sistema it also follows that the net financial liabilities of the corporate center in the first quarter of this year amounted to 258.1 billion rubles, an increase of 12.8% year-on-year. The company’s cash balance is “kept at a comfortable level” in the amount of RUB 5.1 billion.
AFK Sistema is a Russian investment company founded in 1993. Its investment portfolio consists primarily of Russian companies representing various sectors of the economy, including telecommunications, retail, agriculture, banking, real estate, medical services and hospitality.
