The Bank of Russia will increase the limit for supporting SME lending to 320 billion rubles

The Central Bank will increase the limit of support for lending to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). From January 9, 2024, it will be not 288.3 billion rubles, but 320 billion rubles. This is reported on website Bank of Russia. Of these funds, 256 billion rubles. allocated to support systemically important credit institutions.
As follows from the release of the Bank of Russia, increasing the limit will make it possible to provide investment loans in the amount of up to 100 billion rubles in 2024. within the framework of a combined program (subsidies under the “1764” program and preferential funding under a joint program to stimulate lending with JSC SME Corporation).
According to the terms of the SME lending support program, the maximum rate on such loans should not exceed the key rate by more than 3 percentage points for medium-sized businesses, 4 percentage points for small businesses, 4.5 percentage points for micro-businesses. Such loans are provided for three years.
