The average price of Russian Urals oil for the monitoring period from August 15 to September 14 was $77.03 per barrel and $562.3 per ton. The price of North Sea Dated oil for the same period is $88.61. About it reported at the Russian Ministry of Finance.
The export duty on oil in Russia, according to calculations by the Ministry of Finance, will increase from $21.4 to $23.9 per ton (+$2.5) from October 1, 2023.
The duty on light petroleum products and oils will increase and amount to $7.1 per ton, on dark petroleum products – $23.9, on commercial gasoline – $7.1, straight-run (naphtha) – $13.1 per ton. The duty on coke will be $1.5 per ton, on liquefied gas (SPBT) and pure LPG fractions – $0.0.
On September 13, the International Energy Agency (IEA) published a new report. It says that restrictions on oil production by OPEC+ countries will lead to a significant shortage of oil on the world market in the second half of 2023. According to the IEA, the cost of Russian Urals is $70. Russian oil exceeded the $60 price ceiling set by the EU, G7 and Australia in July, however, as Bloomberg wrote, Western companies continue to transport it.
