The average price of Urals oil from December 15, 2022 to January 14, 2023 was $46.82 per barrel or $341.8 per ton, informed Ministry of Finance. This is 18.5% lower than a month earlier ($57.49)
According to the department’s calculations, the export duty on oil in the Russian Federation will decrease by $3.9 from February 1, 2023, from $16.7 to $12.8 per ton. The duty on light oil products and oils will decrease from $5 to $3.8 per ton, on dark ones – from $16.7 to $12.8. The duty on the export of commercial gasoline will drop to $3.8, straight-run (naphtha) – from $9.1 to $7. The duty on liquefied gas will be $21, on pure fractions – $18.9, on coke – $0.8 per ton.
According to the St. Petersburg Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, January 9, Russia was sold a batch of oil at a price of $42.19 per barrel. Bloomberg agency reportedthat Urals is being sold at $38 per barrel. The experts of the analytical center of Promsvyazbank are denied, claiming that oil was sold at $57.4. For 2022, the average price of Urals oil grew to $76.09 per barrel. Since December 5, an embargo on Russian oil has been in effect in the European Union. Also, the G7 countries introduced a price ceiling, setting it at $60 per barrel.
