The Ministry of Economy and Trade of Kalmykia reported that there were interruptions in the supply of gasoline in Elista due to repairs at oil refineries. The agency turned to the Federal Antimonopoly Service to prevent a further rise in gasoline prices.
According to press release Ministry, the repair of refineries led to “temporary instability with the supply of gasoline at gas stations” in several regions in southern Russia. “There are interruptions in the supply of gasoline in the city of Elista. We are taking measures to resolve the situation, including turning to fuel manufacturing companies in order to ensure continuous supply to their gas stations and local gas stations,” he said. O. In Russia, by August, a fuel crisis had matured due to a long-term increase in wholesale prices for SPIMEX, which gradually began to affect retail. The government intends to resolve the situation by increasing mandatory sales on the stock exchange, as well as limiting the number of gasoline exporters, which should increase its supplies within Russia.
