Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant (GPP), which is part of Gazprom Pererabotka LLC (MOEX: GAZP), the stable condensate primary processing unit has resumed operation, the company’s press service reported. The production of light petroleum products is planned to be restored tomorrow, April 4, and the production of fuel oil is already underway.
It was previously reported that the temporary stoppage of production processes was tied up with the need for repairs on the pipeline. “During the repair work, the shipment of light oil products from the Astrakhan gas processing plant did not stop and was carried out taking into account the remaining commercial products in the plant’s parks,” the press service emphasized.
On Tuesday, April 2, Reuters, citing traders of the St. Petersburg Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, wrote about the suspension of operations with products from the Astrakhan gas processing plant “due to an unscheduled stop in the production of petroleum products.” “Kommersant-Middle Volga” later confirmed this information is available at Gazprom Pererabotka.
