American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced nominees for the 96th Academy Awards. The leader in the number of nominations was “Oppenheimer”.

The nominees for best leading actor are Cillian Murphy for Oppenheimer, Bradley Cooper for Maestro, Colman Dolmingo for Rustin, Paul Giamatti for The Leftovers, and Jeffrey Wright for American Fantasy. Nominees for the title of best actress in a leading role are Annette Bening for “Diana Naked,” Lily Gladstone for “Killers of the Flower Moon,” Sandra Hüller for “Anatomy of a Fall,” Carey Mulligan for “Maestro,” and Emma Stone for “The Lost and Lost.”

Among the cartoons, the nominees were “The Boy and the Heron” by Hayao Miyazaki and Toshio Suzuki, “Elemental” by Pixar, “Nimona”, “Robot Dreams”, “Spider-Man: Web of Universes”.
