The total volume of advertising in the means of its distribution in the first half of the year grew by 27% year-on-year, by 19% compared to the first half of 2021, and exceeded 315 billion rubles, the Association of Communication Agencies of Russia (ACAR) calculated.
It is specified that in the second quarter, virtually all segments and sub-segments of the advertising market showed a positive trend: “In general, this quarter, the volume of advertising budgets of the Russian market increased by 50%, the increase compared to the second quarter of 2021 was 25%.”
The regional advertising market, starting from mid-2022, was noted in the association, shows higher dynamics compared to the federal market. Thus, its volume in the first half of the year grew by 25% and exceeded 21 billion rubles. All segments. except for the press. in the regions showed double-digit growth dynamics, the ACAR added.
“In total, the 15 largest regional markets increased their advertising budgets by 31%, while all analyzed regional markets showed double-digit dynamics,” the association said.
