Actor Soslan Fidarov, known for his role as Pinochet in the film “9th Company”, has been appointed Minister of Culture of North Ossetia. The corresponding document was published on the official website of the government of the republic.
The previous Minister of Culture Eduard Galazov was appointed deputy director of the Vladikavkaz Pedagogical College.
Soslan Fidarov was educated at the Faculty of Arts of the North Ossetian State University named after Khetagurov and at the Shchukin School. At the beginning of his career, he worked at the Vakhtangov Russian Drama Theater, and then moved to the Moscow Master Theater.
Fame came to Fidarov after the film “9th Company,” directed by Fyodor Bondarchuk. He also starred in many TV series, including “Penalty Man”, “Shooting Mountains” and “Stompers”.
