Tez Tour: iFly completely canceled flights to Egypt from Russia

The iFly airline said that due to the lack of permission to use the airspace of Jordan and other countries, it is canceling international flight programs from Russia to Egypt. iFly notified the tour operator Tez Tour about this, reports TASS.
“Due to the lack of permission to use the airspace of Jordan, as well as the restrictions imposed on the flight of a number of other states, the iFly airline notified Tez Tour of the forced cancellation of the program of international flights to Egypt from points in the territory of the Russian Federation,” Tez Tour said.
The press service of the tour operator also reported that the airline took out about 7.5 thousand tourists from Egypt, now there are “single” vacationers there. They will be taken out from 28 to 31 December
Earlier in December, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Eritrea closed their airspace to iFly aircraft. The airline tried to coordinate with the Federal Air Transport Agency another route – through Syria. However, the agency did not give permission due to the difficult military-political situation in Syria. Later, Tez Tour arranged to take tourists out of Egypt with Red Wings, Egypt Air and Corendon. Now all the tourists have returned to Russia from Hurghadafrom Sharm El Sheikh – 2.5 thousand people. On December 22, there were 500 more Russians in the city.
