Telegram is preparing to hold an IPO in 2025 – Kommersant

The Russian broker BKS began offering clients to buy Telegram bonds issued in 2021 on the secondary market. This follows from the presentation published in the channel Wutmu about TONrepost post did PR specialist Georgy Lobushkin. The Bondholders’ Association confirmed RBCthat BCS clients received a presentation.
The presentation states that buyers of bonds will be able to convert their par value into shares during the Telegram IPO, which is planned for the second or third quarter of 2025. Conversion is planned with discount:
- 10% if the IPO takes place before March 2024;
- 15% in case of an IPO before March 2025;
- 20% if the IPO takes place before March 2026.
If the shares are not placed, investors are promised to repay the bonds in 2026.
Telegram first placed five-year bonds in March 2021. As a result, the influx from investors amounted to $1 billion. In April of the same year, Telegram issued bonds for $750 million.
