Academicians named the work of VGTRK military correspondents in the North Military District zone as the main event of the television season

A day after the presentation of the TEFI awards for entertainment programs and series, the second part of the ceremony took place. This time the winners were announced in the category “Information and socio-political broadcasting”.

The first pair of ceremony hosts consisted of famous figure skaters Evgenia Medvedeva and Maxim Trankov. After some time, they were replaced by gymnast and now TV presenter Yana Batyrshina and sports commentator Denis Kazansky.

Among those presenting the awards were Svetlana Zhurova, Alexey Nemov, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Roman Kostomarov and Oksana Domnina, Igor Stolyarov, Elena Vartanova, Evgenia Kanaeva, Alexander Zhukov, Igor Ugolnikov, Irina Viner, Vladislav Tretyak, as well as MK editor-in-chief Pavel Gusev.

Georgy Cherdantsev was named the best sports commentator, Dmitry Kulko became the reporter of the year, and Irada Zeynalova (“Results of the Week”) won in the “Host of the information and analytical final program” category. NTV journalist Edmund Zhelobov received an award for the best news story for his report on the work of schools in Yakutia.

In the team competitions, TEFI statuettes went to the teams that created the programs: “Angel Day” (“Socially oriented program”), “Ren-TV News” (Daytime information program), “Vesti” (“Evening information program”), “Qatar 2022. All for football” (“Sports program”), “News of the week” (“Information and analytical final program”), “60 minutes” (“Daytime socio-political talk show”), “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” (“Evening socio-political talk show.” Large-scale television events were also noted, such as broadcasts of the show “Scarlet Sails” and the solemn parade for Navy Day.
