“Tasty – and that’s it” has filed applications for registration of a new name for cola

Fast food restaurant chain Vkusno — i dot has filed applications for registration of a new name for cola and children’s toy sets. About it informs RBC with reference to the database of Rospatent.

So, among the future possible names of cola are “Cola – and the point” and “PointCola”. It is also planned to register the trademark “Kids Combo”, which refers to the categories of toys, food and carbonated drinks. Apparently, we are talking about an analogue of the Happy Meal – a set of children’s meals with a toy at McDonald’s.

In “Tasty – period” RBC confirmed that they are indeed choosing a name for a carbonated drink that will replace Coca-Cola, which has left Russia. It is clarified that the drink itself has not yet been decided. By the way, in early August, Chernogolovka General Director Natalia Sakhnina statedthat the company is negotiating with a chain of fast food restaurants for the supply of carbonated drinks. Chernogolovka also produces domestic cola.

At the end of July, “Vkusno – and that’s it” announced the start of sales of analogues of “Big Mac” and “Macflurry”. Difficulties with the “Big Mac” arose because of the original sauce. It had to be replaced with a similar one that would not differ in taste. In the case of the McFlurry analogue, the company replaced the patented technology – fluring, that is, “turning a spoon in ice cream.”

McDonald’s has closed its restaurants in Russia since March 14, and on May 16 the company announced its final withdrawal from the Russian market. In mid-May, American fast food announced the sale of a chain of 718 restaurants in Russia to local licensee Alexander Govor. The company reserved the opportunity to buy back the business within 15 years, Govor said in an interview with Vedomosti.

On June 12, the first establishments under the new name “Tasty – and that’s it” opened in Moscow. Oleg Paroev, CEO of the company, promised that all restaurants of the chain will start working in September 2022.
