TASS: Yandex will open an office in Istanbul in March

[ad_1]

Yandex plans to launch a hub with an office and coworking space in Istanbul on March 1, TASS reports, citing a source familiar with the situation.

For the first time “Yandex” opened office in Istanbul in 2011 in parallel with the launch of its search engine in Turkey. In September 2020, the company closed representative office in Istanbul, announcing that it will work with Turkish partners from the head office in Russia. This was attributed to the company’s new strategy during the pandemic.

Earlier, The Bell (the Ministry of Justice considers it a foreign agent) wrote that Yandex plans to launch a hub in Turkey, citing sources. Currently, Yandex’s foreign offices operate in Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Serbia. At the same time, according to the publication, in December the company announced that it was switching to a hybrid format of work – the remote work is not completely canceled, but the employee must spend several days in the office.

More details – in the material “Kommersant FM” “Yandex includes a hybrid mode”.
