Victoria Tarasova will not go on tour to Kazakhstan because of the persecution of nationalists. Recall that the performances with the participation of the star “Capercaillie” were to be held at the end of April in three cities of the neighboring country. However, the other day Victoria faced serious bullying. Local nationalists began to call on the authorities to prevent the performance of the artist, and in case of arrival they promised to give her a warm welcome.
“I canceled a tour in Kazakhstan and said that I would not cross the threshold of a country in which they allow Russians to be treated like that,” Tarasova sighs. – Yesterday, two cities officially denied us renting a hall for the performance – they were frightened by the threats of the nationalists. The organizers asked us: “Come to the performance in the third city, everything is calm there.” But my partner Kirill Grebenshchikov and I thought about it and canceled the whole trip. Of course, many fans from Alma-Ata are crying, they were waiting for our meeting. In Kazakhstan, far from all are nationalists.
– The most interesting thing is that today the third city, which agreed to receive us yesterday, refused to rent the site. The organizer called me. “You don’t even have to tell me, I told you yesterday that we are not going anywhere,” I told her.
– I talked to Donetsk yesterday: I have many friends in the leadership there. So, the head of Khartsyzsk, when I told her about what was happening in Kazakhstan, was speechless. She sent to everyone in her structure that they threatened to cancel the performances. At first, the DPR did not believe: “No, this cannot be – these are bots, the Kazakhs are our friends!” Friends – yes, but local nationalists, apparently, are trying to take everything into their own hands. The cancellation of our performances is a prime example of this.
