American film director and screenwriter Quentin Tarantino has completed the script for his new and, in all likelihood, the last film, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Sources say the script is titled The Movie Critic. The action of the film will take place in the late 1970s in Los Angeles.

According to sources, the tape may be dedicated to the American journalist and one of the most influential film critics, Pauline Cale. She herself died in 2001.

Filming is due to begin this year. But the eminent director has not yet signed a contract with any film studio.

The tape may be the last feature film in the career of 59-year-old Tarantino. He has repeatedly stated that he plans to shoot no more than 10 films. If you count two parts of the Kill Bill action movie as one picture, then Tarantino now has 9 completed works.
