Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde said explosions were the cause of gas leaks on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. European countries and Russia do not exclude sabotage, but no one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
“Gas leaks from the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines in the exclusive economic zones are the result of explosions, probably caused by sabotage,” Linde wrote on her Twitter.
She noted that Stockholm continues to collect information and “does not rule out any causes, actors or motives.”
