Supervisory Board of Alrosa recommended not to pay dividends for 2022

“Given external factors of uncertainty, such a decision will increase the stability of the company,” the report says.
The general meeting of Alrosa shareholders is scheduled for June 30. The registration closing date is June 6th.
According to the dividend policy, the company pays dividends twice a year. Last time “Alrosa» made payments for the first half of 2021 in the amount of RUB 64 billion.
At the end of March 2022, the UK authorities imposed sanctions on Alrosa. The company supplies about a third of the world’s rough diamonds. In April of the same year, sanctions against the company were imposed by the United States, Canada and Australia.
May 17 in the company changed CEO. The Supervisory Board elected Pavel Marinychev to this post, who previously headed the Almazy Anabary enterprise.
