The average salary of beginner IT-specialists in Moscow decreased by 4-7%. The number of vacancies from February to August for them decreased by 62%. This was reported “RIA News” with reference to the SuperJob study.

As follows from the study, the average market salary offers in Moscow for beginner IT specialists decreased by 4-7% compared to February. At the same time, from March to August, on average, they grew in Russia by 10%, in annual terms – by 19.1%. As noted by SuperJob, market salary offers in IT are growing faster than the consumer price index.

“Average market salaries (medians) of a number of IT professionals, such as testers, designers, layout designers, have indeed decreased somewhat compared to March due to a decrease in salaries of entry-level specialists. But this trend has not affected the salaries of developers – the median salaries of programmers do not decrease, but continue to grow for a number of positions. The most demanded in the labor market are programmers with development experience of 3 years or more,” the press service quotes the words of Natalia Golovanova, head of the SuperJob research center.
