Superjet manufacturer completes renaming from Irkut to Yakovlev

Yakovlev PJSC (part of Rostec United Aircraft Corporation), manufacturer of Superjet (SSJ) and MS-21 aircraft, has completed corporate procedures for renaming from Irkut, reported press office UAC.
It is specified that the new name was included in the updated charter of the company and the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. The press service notes that soon the name “Yakovlev” will be integrated into all the official attributes of the company, including the website, email addresses and promotional materials.
July 26 “Irkut” announced about renaming in honor of the Soviet aircraft designer Alexander Yakovlev.
