The lottery distributor Stoloto has lost its largest distribution channel: since September 1, tickets under this brand are no longer sold in more than 40 thousand branches of the Russian Post. The decision, according to Kommersant, was made in the interests of Stoloto’s competitor, the National Lottery, whose shareholder has recently become VTB, co-owner of Post Bank. Stoloto expects to compensate for the loss of post offices at the expense of other sellers: the company has another 70 thousand points at retailers and in communication stores. But experts are sure that falling sales cannot be avoided.
