Speculators began selling Nutcracker tickets for 16 times more expensive

Speculators began selling Nutcracker tickets for 16 times more expensive

This should be addressed by law enforcement agencies.

The situation with the sale of tickets for the “nail” production of the Bolshoi Theater has relatively stabilized – people stood in lines for tickets to “The Nutcracker,” which turned into “overnight stays.” And we decided to find out whether the tickets appeared in “unofficial sources”.

We open a clone website with the letters theater in the domain name, where it is proposed to “order tickets to the best seats,” and even with free delivery.

For December, speculators have not one, not two, but dozens (!) of tickets – stalls, amphitheater, mezzanine. But there’s one catch. The cheapest ticket is 90 thousand, if you agree to the “backyards”. But in the front rows they sell for an unrealistic 270 thousand (right next to the stage, where it’s also not very convenient to watch), and in the “golden middle” of the stalls – 320 thousand, that is, prices are raised sixteen times.

And here is a warning – personalized tickets, paper, entry with a passport.

But the real Bolshoi Theater warns that “if the information about the viewer indicated on the ticket does not correspond to the data contained in the presented document, the viewer will not be allowed to attend the performance without reimbursement of the cost of purchasing the ticket.”

It’s okay that the three hundred thousand paid on top will not be returned, even the nominal value will not be given back when the last name in the passport turns out to be different.

But will it turn out? We were unable to reach the number listed on the dealers’ website. Having ordered a call back, our colleague also did not receive a call back. But the situation with the “left” ticket is in any case a stalemate.

If the last name is different (and this is 100% accurate, because the tickets were supposedly purchased by speculators in advance) then they will not be allowed into the theater at all. Once again: at the BT box office they clearly said that all tickets for December are personal.

There are two conclusions from this.

Traders will deceive 100% – and this should be done by law enforcement agencies, not journalists.

If they enter the name corresponding to the buyer’s data on the resale ticket, then this is still illegal, and may mean participation in the fraud of persons who have official access to the tickets. But whether this is so must again be clarified by the competent authorities.
